[Where To Stay] Rosewood Hotel Georgia - My Forever Soft-Spot ❤

Rosewood Hotel Georgia, for me, is forever the soft-spot of all hotels. I had my wedding there ❤ So during our wedding anniversary this year, we chose to return to Hotel Georgia for dinner and a staycation to celebrate !

My Wedding Day at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia

Hotel Georgia is one of Vancouver's oldest hotels. It has been constantly voted as the Best Hotel in Canada and/or B.C. year after year. It first opened its doors in 1927, and after an extensive renovation in 2011, it reopened again as Rosewood Hotel Georgia. The renovation has instilled the historic landmark with a layer of modern sophistication. Now with a combination of grandeur, luxury, and charm, I can confidently say that the Rosewood Hotel Georgia is an unmatchable Vancouver legend. It is no doubt a popular choice among many celebrities and even royalty.

The RHG has 156 rooms and suites in total, and we booked the Premier Executive Room. It was very spacious yet extremely cozy with elegant furnishings. We had a wonderful view of the Vancouver Art Gallery and every time I looked out the window, I felt like I was in Europe !

The room is obviously well-equipped with all the amenities you need and more. Despite being a historic building, RHG is very update to date in terms of all of its in-room electronics and appliances.

My favorite is the bathroom. The black marble bathroom was so beautiful. It came with two separate sinks, one on each side of the room, and a huge rain forest shower. My favorite part is the luxurious stand alone tub, I couldn't wait for my soak at the end of that day !

It is also VERY important to mention that, RHG is a pet friendly hotel. I'm the type of owner that will bring my dog everywhere with me if I can. So I was extremely grateful that my Luna could share this wonderful experience with us ! The hotel was so thoughtful. They prepared treats, a bottled water, water + food bowls, and a comfortable dog bed for Luna.

Oh, how can I forget what RHG did for my husband and I ! Because we noted that it was our wedding anniversary when we booked, we were greeted with Champaign and chocolates in our room ! That was such a thoughtful gesture and certainly added even more romance to the special day !

We had some time before dinner, so we also went to my favorite rooftop patio in Vancouver - Reflections. It was so festively decorated with Christmas decors. The space was sparkling with magic and was truly like a Winter Wonderland !

It was SO magical, I took too many photos, haha.

We stayed in the hotel for dinner that night, because of course, RHG also hosts one of the best fine dining restaurants in Vancouver - the Hawksworth Restaurant. The food was delicious as always and service impeccable. We didn't take any photos during dinner as we didn't want to disturb the ambiance of the restaurant.

After dinner, we decided to walk Luna around downtown. RHG is anchored in the heart of the most vibrant area of downtown - where it was also festive with Christmas lights and holiday shopping ! We live about 30 mins from downtown, so this staycation gave us a taste of what it feels like to be a downtown resident. This is why I love staycations so much, because it gives you a fresh experience in a city you've lived forever.

And after we returned to our room, I drew myself a bubble bath to end the night. The bedding was so comfortable and lush, we all, including Luna, slept like a baby. We woke up to some room service for brunch, had a late checkout, and left with a heart of fullness. Our experience there was sooooo wonderful that we have decided then and there, to make staying at RHG our tradition every anniversary.

I hope my review can make you FEEL the luxury, comfort, and bliss we received during our staycation at Rosewood Hotel Georgia. And I hope that you will feel the same thing too ❤
